AAPAC

AFRICAN AMERICAN PARENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The mission of the African American Parent Advisory Committee (AAPAC) at Enterprise Middle School  is to increase the value of your child’s education. Our goal is to form a relationship with you to ensure your son/daughter is successful within and beyond our walls. We encourage you to be an active participant in this process by attending our meetings and discussing pertinent issues that affect your son/daughter. Our meetings will be an open forum to introduce you to EMS goals and standards as well as listen to and advocate your concerns. We understand that in order for a student to be successful, it takes more than a teacher, counselor, administrator, or parent. It takes all of those people working together to help students navigate through high school and become college/career ready.

  • Issues specific to academic achievement of African-American students.
  • Ways to engage/increase parent participation.
  • Developing goals and objectives specific to each school site as it relates to Targeted Instruction Improvement Policy.
  • Meets on a regular basis (monthly meetings are recommended)
